The Strategic Initiatives section introduces you to Community Partners’ services for a variety of community projects.

What is a Strategic Initiative?

Community Partners helps established nonprofit organizations, foundations, government agencies and other social entrepreneurs embarking on major organizational or programmatic initiatives improve their ability to respond to community needs.

  • Funders seek out Community Partners to ensure successful management of complex initiatives.
  • Foundations find that their grants have even greater impact when Community Partners provides support and technical assistance to grantee peer learning groups.
  • Government agencies find that Community Partners ensures their grants reach grassroots communities most in need of assistance.
  • Networks of organizations turn to Community Partners to help facilitate all aspects of their work – planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • And social entrepreneurs find Community Partners’ tailored consulting expertise invaluable in enhancing organizational effectiveness and maximizing results.

Strengthening organizations individually, and then coordinating and supporting larger networks around a particular issue on an ongoing basis, have proven effective in furthering the causes of violence prevention, community technology and youth development.
