With knowledge, tools, and inspiration, Netiya empowers people from L.A.’s faith sector to repurpose underused lands to grow food. Rooted in ancient Jewish traditions of land stewardship and earth-based wisdom, together we plant seeds, grow food, and nourish the spirit. We believe that underused land is a wasted community resource. Netiya offers experiential installs of water-wise gardens on congregational land at churches, mosques, schools, and synagogues with educational programing. It is our fifth year of community organizing, we have installed 16 institutional-scale gardens in LA, and distributed 10 matching microgrants in the faith sector.
