Angelina brings a strong background in grants management, having worked most recently at The California Endowment and Special Service for Groups. She earned her BA in Economics and Sociology and a Master's in Library and Information Science from UCLA and an MA in History from Mount St. Mary’s University. Angelina was a Hispanics in Philanthropy NGEN Emerging Leaders Fellow in 2016 and previously served on the steering committees for Peak Grantmaking – Southern California and Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy – Los Angeles. Angelina is a native Angeleno who is interested in community activism and social justice, especially around areas of health equity and gender justice. In her free time, Angelina loves to bake and is addicted to The Great British Baking Show, and can often be found reading a good book and spoiling her dog.
