Rigo has over 25 years of experience in the field of aging, with an emphasis on public policy diversity outreach, administration, and direct service. Under his leadership at St. Barnabas Senior Services, the organization has doubled its operational budget, doubled the number of seniors served, and tripled the number of their senior service centers. Rigo received his Master’s of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Public Policy and Administration, and his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from California State University, Los Angeles with an emphasis in management. He is widely recognized as an energetic strategist, policy expert, and operations director who has the relationships and skills to bring others together to collaborate on community challenges and change senior services. Rigo is active with numerous charitable and professional organizations nationwide and serves as Chair of the Los Angeles Aging Advocacy Coalition.
