New Fund will Activate the Arts

A new city partnership will support artists in their creation of new projects to enliven Los Angeles neighborhoods with inspiring ideas for public art projects and cultural events.

Community Partners is proud to be assisting with this new Arts Activation Fund, a partnership between Mayor Garcetti’s Great Streets Initiative and the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA). We will administer the $200,000 in grants to the projects and will also provide some capacity building services to the grantees. The Cultural Affairs department expects to support 8-16 projects a year through this new fund.
