Center for Council delivers programs and trainings that promote communication, enhance well-being, build community, and foster compassion.  Our work enables individuals to cultivate tools for improved communication, to find common ground with others and to create healthy, compassionate and thriving communities.

Center for Council provides ongoing trainings for community-based organizations, within prisons, for law enforcement and healthcare agencies. We also provide customized training and consulting for schoolsbusinesses, and government agencies.

Council fosters recognition of our shared humanity and interconnectedness and enables individuals to give voice to their stories, to develop mutual respect and compassion for others, to cultivate a wholesome response to challenges and stress and to strengthen wellbeing and resilience in themselves and beyond.

Gender-inclusive, feminist, pro-immigrant rights organization to promote healthy relationships and anti-violence through the arts

Mission

By using an arts-based approach, the Justice for My Sister Collective creates safe spaces within marginalized communities in California and Guatemala to initiate collective healing and develop local leaders to combat gender-based violence.

Vision

The Justice for My Sister Collective’s vision is to create safe spaces where through popular education and art, women and men of all ages form support networks and alliances to understand, prevent, and thereby end the cycle of violence against women, trans, and gender non-conforming people.

Strategy

Our goal is to identify potential outreach facilitators at our events, so that they can go on to later partake in training.
