We seek projects that are well considered and demonstrate a potential for real impact. Thank you for inquiring about Fiscal Sponsorship with Community Partners. This application will allow us to get to know you and your project. Community Partners welcomes all proposals that have the potential for significant community impact and prioritizes those that advance those that contribute to more just and vibrant communities.


If your project participates in any of the following activities, we cannot consider your proposal at this time:

  • Construction activities
  • Providing medical services
  • Profit-making ventures
  • Projects where housing is a key element (i.e., transitional housing, domestic violence shelters, foster youth homes)
  • Projects that routinely practice litigation
  • Manufacturing and distribution
  • Use of power tools
  • Provide mental health services
  • Interact with animals
  • Moderate to extreme physical activities (rock climbing, kayaking, ropes courses, contact sports)
  • Building and launching rockets

As a result of Assembly Bill 5 signed by Governor Newsom on September 19, 2019, effective January 1, 2020, most workers in California will be considered employees, not consultants or Independent Contractors. Community Partners (CP) will work with you to properly classify all workers but reserves the right to decide how all project workers are classified. Please do not make promises to workers about how they will be classified without first consulting with the CP Human Resources team.
